The Youth ministry at BLC exists in order to disciple students into their baptismal covenant.

Confirmation (Grades 6 - 8)
Starting Sept. 14, we meet Wednesday evenings from 5:30- 7:30 for Dinner, Games, teaching, and Worship.
 
Arise: 9:45 on Sunday mornings in the youth room join us for donuts, movie clips, and a ton of fun as we explore the Bible together and what God is doing in our lives.
High School
Beginning September 13, we meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30- 8:00 in the upstairs youth room. Join us for snacks, music, and lively conversation.

Beginning September 18, join Bryan and the other High School students after the second service for lunch and a great time to hang out.

Events 
Confirmation Parent Dinner- There is a special dinner for all parent's of confirmation student's on August 31, from 5:30- 7:30 in the BLC Fellowship hall.
 
National Youth Gathering Information Meeting: Wednesday Sept. 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the youth room for all High School students who are interested in going to the E.L.C.A National Youth Gathering in July of 2012 in New Orleans, LA. All students who will be entering high school, in high school, or just graduating from high school by next summer will be able to go. Initial deposits of $150 are due Oct. 2.

Gold Country Fair/ Youth All-Nighter: This event is for all youth between 6-12 grade!!! We begin at 5:00 p.m. by dropping off our stuff at the church and then walking over to the fair for corn dogs, funnel cake, rides that make you want to vomit, and the awesome farm animals.Be sure to bring some money to get into the fair ($5) and anything else that you might want. Then around 10:30 we will head back to the church for a night of video games, food, movies, and friends. It all ends at 9:00 a.m. the next morning.

Oktoberfest Mexico Fundraiser:  This is an awesome event for the whole family and it raises money for our spring break pilgrimage to Mexico. It is October 8, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Gold Country Fairgrounds. We will be having live music, live and silent auction, dancing, German food, and ton of fun.
